Indications

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) ^{1) 2)}

• For COPD stage GOLD II-IV as an additive measure to established drug therapy and rehabilitation procedures.

Neuromuscular diseases ³⁾

• Slow progressive course
• Inspiratory vital capacity > 25% of the target value
• paCO₂ (partial pressure of carbon dioxide in blood) < 45 mmHg

Other medical conditions with respiratory muscle weakness, such as

• Cystic fibrosis
• Kyphoscoliosis or diaphragmatic dysfunction
• Thoracic deformity
• in the pre- and postoperative area during thoracic surgery
• Chronic heart failure
